Pros and cons of Get Enough Helper app for iPhone and iPad

Get Enough Helper app good for

How do you change charities? Id like to do a different one each day so that Im spreading out those who get donations.
A really neat little app and very easy to use. I especially like the charity tie-in to give extra incentive, while helping give to a great cause (& a healthier you!)
Love this app, all the information is great, the design is nice and organized. Its so quick to use! The fundraiser part is cool.
It donates $1 everyday you save your data to one of three (not much option) charities that you choose! You could totally bs the data...but whos that helping? Maybe you?
A great app. Helps me pay attention to how little vegetables Im usually having. Love how money is donated to charity in accordance to customer participation. Dont quite love the dairy heavy tips, especially when I saw who the creator of the app is - but whatever, if theyre paying for the charity, I guess they can push whatever product they want
This is a great app, I really like how it explains what a serving is. I would just like to add a section to track the amount of water you are supposed to have. Like have 8 circles and when you drink one glass of water you can tap one circle to signify that you have had 1 of your 8 glasses of water a day. Other than that, I love this app!

Some bad moments

I figured this app would track what youve eaten (item by item, by quantity) and then convert that into what it equates to in terms of serving. It does not. Instead, you manually enter how many servings youve had. Really pointless. A much more useful alternative would be to enter that you had 1 cup of blue berries and 1 cup of beans and it update your daily recommended servings.
This app just has you punch in your total servings at the end of the day. I need an app that lets me log in servings after each meal & snack & gives me a running total for the day.
I wish that instead of attempting to create their own app, they would have partnered with some well established food tracking apps like Fitbit, Jawbone and MyFitnessPal. Then this content would have been a lot more useful and more easily implementable to daily consumption habits.
I wish this app were sharing facts about dairy and health instead of dubious propaganda. The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and NutritionFacts.org among others have written extensively on the health risks of consuming dairy products and their possible links to osteoporosis, heart disease and cancer. Environmentally, this industry is destructive as shown in Cowspiracy the documentary. Ethically it’s egregious, based on enslavement, rape, abduction and murder. A whole foods plant-based diet is where real health is found.
All this does is count your servings, if you enter them manually, based on the Canadian Food Guide ( which is being overhauled because it is extremely biased in favor of big Afro business e.g. livestock, grain, & ( yes you guessed it ) Milk. If you want to start eating healthy, do yourself a favor and get the My Fitness Pal app :)
